I typically follow “the rules”. I exercise, eat well, buy organics, put Alyson through all these treatments, leave Bradyn at home to comply with the new “flu guidelines” at Clinic and so forth. More to the point of this discussion, I am very patient when it comes to needing to stay in the hospital.

Two Weeks of At Home Chemo Done

And a week of Vincristine complete. Alyson’s ANC is about 40, which may as well be zero. We’re watching carefully for fevers and I’ve been pressing on her acupuncture points for immune system stimulation. I have no idea if it works but at least I feel like I’m doing something.

I forgot to update the site last week…probably because we were all approaching illness. Alyson’s ANC went from over 5000 to 36, which is basically zero. This virus has us all on edge. Bradyn was weeping on Saturday because he doesn’t want us to be stuck in the hospital again.
