I understand exactly what you are saying. Exactly. Luckily our hospital gets full quickly so we get sent home quickly. So sorry that you had to go through any of this. That stupid fever rule can get so silly. If it is needed it is really needed but so many times it seems like once they get to the hospital nothing happens. Good luck. Oh, golly.
