I need to talk with our insurance rep once more before I divulge details.

Good for you! I was going to leave a comment on the other post but you already updated. I hope you can get support from your oncology team (like, oral antibiotics? iv rocephin in clinic?).
I hope you don’t have to take too much flack over this and those counts rebound soon.
Go mama! And Aly!

Oh, golly. I understand exactly what you are saying. Exactly. Luckily our hospital gets full quickly so we get sent home quickly. So sorry that you had to go through any of this.
That stupid fever rule can get so silly. If it is needed it is really needed but so many times it seems like once they get to the hospital nothing happens.
Good luck.

I hope all is going well at home! I completely understand your desire to be at home where you have so much more control over the environment. I’ll be away for the next week or so and i won’t see posts until i get back online, but i wanted to wish you all a good week. i’ll be thinking of you! hugs to all of you!!

I’m happy that you got to come home. The hospital sucks.
Having to make decisions keeping the needs of the insurance company in mind also sucks. >:(
Sending you happy healthy vibes from up north. ~~~~
(PS – I am a new believer in acupuncture, that’s for sure! Can’t hurt, anyway).
