Growing up, the way to curse without my parents yelling at me was to say effin’. Ironically, Fever with Neutropenia is abbreviated as F n N. Most everyone in the medical profession says effin’ N. It’s appropriate.

I had been dreading this round of Chemo. The books, websites and personal experiences all warned me that it would be awful for Alyson. It got put off by a few weeks while we waited for Alyson’s counts to improve. She ended up starting on Wednesday, the 18th of February.
