Alyson’s Journey

Today, Ohdeedoh of Apartment Therapy fame, posted about Alyson’s Make-a-Wish. There have been a few links posted that I’ll be checking out very soon. I’m very excited to hear what other families suggest. I feel like my creativity is limited to generalities – Um, a slide and a tunnel and hiding place? Perhaps my brain is just burned out from old age? Nah.

Alyson is holding up just fine after yesterday’s chemo. She’s happy to not have to go back until after Christmas. I had it in my feeble memory that we were going back once this next week. I was mistaken. Thus, I’ll have to make a run up next week in order to deliver presents. I made a scarf for Dr. Albano out of the Vogue Knitting Holiday 2008 magazine. The colors are gorgeous and it turned out lovely. The main body yarn is the multi-colored image and the fringe is made of the coordinating apricot (middle). Dr. Ashley is also getting a scarf that I just made up. Hers is made from the sequined blue in the photo on the right.
